Music for the Missing Concert
On Sunday, April 6, 2003, the Rachel Alert Network hosted The Music for the Missing Concert at Dallas Night Club in Austin Texas was held. Al White and the Chaparral, The Dave Wiantt Band, Dave Jorgenson and the Real Deal, and Allie Danielle provided music for the event. Around 150 people attended the event and purchased silent auction items. families of other missing children adults were present and some of them spoke. Organizations such as The Nations Missing Children and Center for Missing Adults, Bikers Against Child Abuse, and People Against Violent Crime also represented. The money raised in the event will be donated to Texas Equusearch and Travis County Search and Rescue. These two organizations were formed to bring missing people home. |
